3. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with MindTecton, we may collect the following categories.
Information you provide
Identity and contact data: name, email address, country, time zone and any other contact details you provide.
Order and account data: purchased program, program level, price, currency, order date, transaction reference, payment status, account credentials and access history.
Quiz and lead data: quiz answers, recommended program, requested resources, signup source, tags and communication preferences.
Communications: emails, support requests, feedback, survey responses, refund requests and other messages.
VIP information: scheduling details, intake responses, goals, routines, work or learning patterns, implementation constraints, progress updates, session notes and information required to prepare your Custom Implementation Map.
Customer materials: documents, examples or other information you voluntarily send for review.
Please do not provide confidential employer or client information that you are not authorised to disclose. Avoid sending medical, financial or other sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary for the service.
MindTecton does not normally request health data. If you voluntarily provide health-related information in connection with See Clarity Now or another program, we will limit its use to responding to your request or providing the service. Where applicable law requires explicit consent to process that information, we will request it or ask you not to provide the information.
Information collected automatically
When you use our websites or program platform, we and our service providers may collect:
IP address;
browser, device type and operating system;
approximate location derived from IP address;
referring page or campaign information;
pages viewed and navigation activity;
dates, times and duration of activity;
cookie and similar-technology identifiers;
account logins and course progress; and
interaction events such as quiz starts and completions, program views, lead submissions, checkout starts and completed purchases.
This technical and usage information may constitute personal data even when it does not directly identify you by name.
Payment information
Payments are currently processed by PayPal. PayPal collects and processes payment credentials under its own privacy policy. MindTecton generally receives your name, email address, billing or location information made available by PayPal, transaction reference, amount, currency and payment status. We do not normally receive your complete card number or bank-account credentials.
4. How we collect personal data
We collect personal data:
directly from you when you submit a form, take a quiz, make a purchase, create an account, download a resource, contact us or participate in VIP;
automatically through websites, program platforms, cookies and analytics technologies;
from service providers involved in payments, hosting, course delivery, scheduling, video conferencing, email and analytics; and
from referral links or campaign parameters when you arrive through a partner, social platform or marketing campaign.
5. Why we use personal data and our legal bases
The legal basis depends on the purpose and applicable law.
To provide a requested product or service
We use identity, order, account, program, communication and VIP data to:
process orders and confirm payment;
create and maintain program access;
deliver digital materials and future updates;
provide customer support;
process refund requests;
schedule and deliver VIP sessions;
prepare implementation maps and adjustments; and
send essential account, purchase, security and service messages.
Where GDPR or similar law applies, the usual legal basis is performance of a contract or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
To operate, secure and improve MindTecton
We use technical, usage, account and communication data to:
maintain website and program functionality;
diagnose errors and protect accounts;
prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised sharing;
understand aggregate use of programs and funnels;
improve content, navigation, support and offers; and
establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the business, balanced against your rights. We use consent instead where the law requires it, particularly for non-essential cookies or analytics.
To comply with law
We may process and retain order, payment, tax, complaint and identity information when necessary to comply with accounting, tax, consumer-protection, regulatory or other legal obligations.
To send marketing and educational email
With consent where required, we use your email address, signup source, quiz result, program interests and engagement information to send requested resources, educational sequences, newsletters, program information and offers.
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in an email or by contacting info@mindtecton.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential messages about a purchase, account, refund, security issue, VIP delivery or important service change.
With your consent
We rely on consent where required for non-essential cookies, particular marketing activity, optional testimonials, session recordings or processing voluntarily supplied sensitive data. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
6. Quiz recommendations and automated processing
The MindTecton quiz uses the answers you select to generate a program recommendation and may apply corresponding interest tags to your email record.
This is an automated educational and marketing recommendation. It does not produce a legal or similarly significant decision about you. You may ignore the recommendation, explore another program or contact us for general assistance.
MindTecton does not use solely automated processing to determine eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, healthcare or another similarly significant service.
7. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies
We may use:
Strictly necessary technologies for security, checkout, login, account access, consent preferences and core website functions.
Preference technologies to remember selections and improve usability.
Analytics technologies to understand visits, navigation, quiz activity, program views, lead submissions, checkout activity and purchases.
Our analytics stack may include Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Google Search Console supplies information about how the website appears and performs in Google Search. Google Tag Manager helps deploy and manage approved website tags; the data collected depends on the tags configured through it.
Where applicable law requires consent, we rely on consent before activating non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies. You can accept or reject available cookie categories through the consent controls presented on the relevant website and can later withdraw consent through those controls or by clearing stored cookies. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although blocking necessary technologies may affect login, checkout or program functionality.
We do not currently use personal data for third-party targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal data collected through cookies. If these practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required choices before using the data for the new purpose.
8. Service providers and other recipients
We disclose personal data only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
Current provider categories and principal services include:
WordPress and EasyWP/Namecheap: website content and hosting infrastructure;
Systeme.io: funnels, forms, quizzes, checkout connections, program accounts, course delivery and email automation;
Zoho: business email and communications;
Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console: analytics, tag management and search-performance reporting;
PayPal: payment processing, fraud prevention, refunds and transaction records;
Calendly: VIP scheduling; and
Zoom: VIP video sessions.
Google Forms: VIP intake, onboarding and implementation questionnaires;
Providers process data under their own terms and, where applicable, contractual obligations to MindTecton. They may also process certain data independently where the law treats them as a separate controller, particularly for payments, fraud prevention or their own account administration.
We may also disclose relevant information to:
accountants, lawyers, security specialists and other professional advisers under appropriate confidentiality duties;
public authorities, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies when legally required or necessary to protect legal rights; and
a genuine buyer, successor or adviser involved in a proposed sale, merger, restructuring or transfer of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
MindTecton does not sell or rent personal data.
9. International processing and transfers
MindTecton is operated from Serbia and serves an international audience. Our providers may process personal data in Serbia, the European Economic Area, the United States and other countries in which they or their subprocessors operate.
Privacy protections and government-access rules may differ between countries. Where GDPR or another applicable law restricts international transfers, we use or rely on recognised safeguards where required, such as:
an adequacy decision;
approved Standard Contractual Clauses;
a provider’s legally recognised transfer framework; or
another lawful transfer mechanism.
You may contact info@mindtecton.com for more information about safeguards relevant to your data.
10. How long we retain personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements.
Our usual retention approach is:
Account and program-access data: for as long as lifetime program access remains active, plus a reasonable backup and deletion period.
Orders, payments, refunds and tax records: for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law, normally up to 10 years.
VIP intake, implementation maps, session notes and support correspondence: normally up to 24 months after the implementation period ends, unless you request earlier deletion and no legal or dispute-related reason requires retention.
General customer-support and complaint records: normally up to three years after the matter is closed.
Quiz and lead data for a person who does not become an active subscriber or customer: normally up to 24 months after the last interaction.
Marketing subscriber data: until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or remain inactive for approximately 24 months, subject to periodic review.
Unsubscribe and suppression records: limited information for as long as reasonably necessary to honour your request and demonstrate compliance.
User-level analytics data: normally up to 14 months, with aggregated or effectively anonymised reporting retained longer where it no longer identifies an individual.
Technical security and access logs: normally up to 12 months unless a security incident or legal issue requires longer retention.
Consent-choice records: normally up to 12 months. These records contain a random consent identifier, selected categories, configuration revision, source hostname and UTC timestamp. They do not contain your name, email address, IP address or user-agent string.
We may retain particular information longer when required by law, necessary for an active dispute, needed to protect against fraud or preserved at your request. Data in backups may remain for a limited additional cycle before secure deletion or overwrite.
11. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the size and nature of MindTecton, including access controls, account authentication, encrypted connections where supported, reputable service providers, limited administrative access and reasonable backup and security practices.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password and protecting your account credentials. Notify us promptly at info@mindtecton.com if you suspect unauthorised account access.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
obtain information about how we process your personal data;
request access to personal data we hold about you;
correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
request deletion;
restrict particular processing;
object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing;
receive certain data in a portable format;
withdraw consent at any time; and
lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection or consumer authority.
Residents of US states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may also have rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling. MindTecton does not currently sell personal data or use it for third-party targeted advertising. We will honour applicable rights and appeal procedures where legally required.
These rights are not absolute. For example, we may retain transaction records required by tax law or information necessary to resolve a dispute.
To exercise a right, email info@mindtecton.com and describe your request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
You may authorise another person to submit a request where applicable law permits. We may ask for evidence of that authority and may still need to verify your identity directly.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may complain to the data-protection authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred. If you are in the United Kingdom, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first, although you are not required to contact us before using a regulatory right.
13. Children’s privacy
MindTecton’s paid programs are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for the purpose of selling them programs.
If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate permission, contact info@mindtecton.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Third-party links
Our websites and emails may link to third-party websites, research sources, social platforms or services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators. Review their privacy information before providing personal data.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our services, providers, legal obligations or data practices change. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect.
If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide reasonable notice and request new consent where applicable law requires it. We will not rely on a new version of this Policy to use previously collected data for an incompatible purpose without an appropriate legal basis.
